Go Wild

People belong in nature. Even if you wouldn’t call yourself “outdoors-y,” we all recognize the special tranquility that comes from fresh air, golden hour rays and just slowing down to listen to the sounds of nature all around you. Spaces like your back patio, the park in your neighborhood, or the green rooftop near your office have a lot to offer. Use them. Studies have shown that individuals who visit natural spaces weekly and feel psychologically connected to them report better physical and mental wellbeing.  Whether you have access to an urban park or a refuge in the wilderness, it can be a natural remedy for the stressors of urban living, according to research. Spending time wandering along trails, encountering wildlife, and just taking it all in can make us more resilient and improve overall health. 

So, our advice? Find comfort and some much-needed solace through nature in a way that fits you + your lifestyle. 

Create Your Sanctuary

All the meditation, yoga, and green space in the world won’t do you much good if the first thing you walk in on when you open your door is clutter and chaos. Look for ways to make your home into a healing environment. Pay special attention to the first things you see when you come home (your entryway), and the last things you see at night (your nightstand). Small tidying touches can make these sources of delight and relaxation. We recommend keeping your favorite CBD products in a space that’s a part of your nightly ritual as a reminder to include it as part of your evening wind-down.

You probably already have space in mind that can be your at-home sanctuary. If your space has natural sunlight beaming in and outdoor views, even better. Find Your Center Everywhere You Look

Where else do you spend time that may be subconsciously causing you stress and could use some conscious improvement? If you spend a lot of time in your car (like most of us), you might consider how you can improve that daily experience for yourself. Next time you’re stuck in traffic, you might even feel less anxious if your car isn’t full of empty coffee cups and boxes.
