How do You Beat the Sunday Scaries?

There are tons of ways to fight off the Sunday scaries.

Make Sunday Your Maintenance Day

That mountain of laundry you fold but never put away? The trash filling up the passenger side of your car? Clean it up. Use Sunday as your day to get prepared for Monday so that by the time Monday rolls around you aren’t stressed out in your environment. Giving yourself a clean place to live, work, and relax will allow you to take a mental breather and will save you from endlessly adding tasks to your to-do list.

Avoid Working

As tempting as it can be to begin working on Sunday, if you can avoid it, try not to. Use Sunday as a day to recharge and save the work for Monday. The work will still be there, we’re sure of it!

Have a Routine for Sunday Night

Turn Sunday night into the night where you pamper yourself, whatever that looks like to you! Whether that be going on a walk, taking a bath, or making yourself a healthy dinner, make sure that you’re doing something that makes you feel good.

Additionally, you should make sure that you’re well-rested for Monday. We know that that can be difficult when you’re feeling anxious and having a hard time winding down. CBD may be able to help alleviate anxiety + stress and make your wind-down routine easier to get through. If you’re experiencing a night of tossing and turning, you may benefit from trying our Slumber Party melatonin gummies.

Make Monday Something You're Excited for

Try not to dread Monday morning. Take yourself to get your favorite coffee every Monday morning, or wake up early to watch an episode of your favorite show. Listen to a new episode of your favorite podcast in the car. Give yourself something to look forward to when you wake up, don’t make your only purpose for waking up going to work.

The most important reason for fighting off the Sunday scaries is YOU. Giving yourself a fair shot at wellness makes all the difference in your Sunday.
